The Baby & Children's Ministry of Harvest House needs your help!!!

Please help spread the word that we are in great need of gently-used children's clothing, sizes 8 -14. Our clothing racks have been just about bare for months, where we have nothing to offer the families who come to us for help.

The Baby & Children's Ministry is the largest provider of FREE clothing in the Buffalo area.
If you are able to donate, or know of anyone who can help, it would be GREATLY appreciated! Thank you!!!

Imagine the heartache of the mother who is not able to provide her child with something as basic as a pair of pajamas; or the shame of knowing that her child's threadbare coat no longer fits, but must last another winter.  This is why the Baby and Children's Ministry exists.

At the Baby and Children's Ministry, mothers, fathers, grandmothers, and other caregivers have their pride and dignity restored as they "shop" (free of charge) for the items that their children need.

On April 1, 2013 the Baby and Children's Ministry moved to our

Ministry Center at 175 Jefferson!

Lupe ready for Christmas!!

The Baby and Children's Ministry is the largest provider of free baby and children's clothing and furniture items in the area, helping families referred by 200+ social service and health agencies.  With the exception of diapers and formula, the Baby & Children's Ministry gives away anything dealing with a baby or child, such as clothing, safe cribs, car seats, strollers, toys, books, pajamas, etc.  Most of the items given away have been donated to Harvest House through private individuals and clothing drives.

Through the generosity of individual donors and the proceeds of the Bottles for Babies Campaign, we are able to purchase extra items such as safe cribs (read more), socks and underwear. This ministry is run by one paid director, Guadalupe Peña. "Lupe" is assisted by 30 wonderful volunteers. She celebrated her 11th anniversary of working in and directing the Baby and Children's Ministry on January 13, 2014. (read more)

Due to Federal Law effective 6/28/11, the Baby and Children's Ministry cannot accept any donations of cribs that have sides that can be lowered. We are collecting and distributing cribs with mesh sides and cribs with stationary (unmovable) sides.

Every baby brings into the world

A song that has never been sung.

A hope that has never been quenched.

A chance to love and be loved and

A complete faith in us for protection.
