BABY & CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
175 Jefferson Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14210
We are pleased to introduce Elena (shown below with Guadalupe, Director of the Baby & Children's Ministry), who is helping while Jolanda is on maternity leave.
On April 1, 2013 the Baby & Children's Ministry moved to our new, much larger location in the Harvest House Ministry Center at 175 Jefferson Avenue, with the help of many wonderful volunteers! Lupe, the Director, is pictured below.
On November 9, 2015 a very large donation of clothing, car seats and toys was made possible through Bella Kids.
Thank you to Krista and Darcy and all the consigners for all the donations.
Two vans were completely filled with items for the Baby and Children's Ministry.
On May 21, 2015 Mrs. Buffalo, Paula Greene-Candino, visited the Baby & Children's Ministry! Her focus is on child-centered issues.

WARM COATS FOR KIDS!
Thank you to Robert Marlinski and Colvin Cleaners (873-2952). What a blessing for our youngsters.
We thank Colvin Cleaners for donating 300 much needed coats in November 2013.
Thank you Jim and Jill Vavreck! What a blessing you are for the children! In October 2012, Jim and Jill purchased 156 brand new winter coats to give to the children who use the Baby and Children's Ministry. They do the same thing every year! Besides purchasing the coats through "Operation Warm," the Jim and Jill take the time to put a prayer in the pocket of each child's coat. "Thank You" hardly seems like enough to express our appreciation for your generosity! The children always love their new coats!
Volunteers from Canisius HS and Young Christians at Work
Thanks go to all who helped us move the Baby & Children's Ministry
from Seneca Street to Jefferson Avenue in late March 2013.
Lupé Peña -- Congratulations!!
January 13, 2013 marked the 10th Anniversary of Guadalupe "Lupe" Peña's service as Director of the Baby & Children's Ministry! The Baby & Children's Ministry is the success it is because of her hard work and dedication. We all wish Lupé a very happy anniversary!!
In January 2013, Girl Scout Sarah Swagler, pictured above with Lupé Peña, completed 59 hours of work in creating twenty-five blankets for needy infants served by the Harvest House, Baby & Children's Ministry. Sarah is a Juliette Girl Scout, living in Grand Island. She raised all the monies required for the material and made the blankets on her own. Thank you Sarah .... you earned your Silver Award for a worthy cause!
We were blessed to receive a wonderful office-wide donation from Verizon employees in late April. Thank you - Kerri White for organizing this donation for the babies and the children. These donations are welcome any time and we can help you identify our needs based on our current "wish list." (See wish list on this website.)
