DIRECTIONS TO THE BABY & CHILDREN'S MINISTRY FROM THE RETREAT CENTER ON SENECA

The Baby & Children's Ministry moved in April 2013 to the Harvest House Ministry Center at 175 Jefferson Avenue. Generous people who want to donate and are familiar with the former location of the BCM on Seneca Street ask for directions on how to get there from Seneca Street. It is only 2.5 miles away!

Turn right out of the parking lot onto Seneca Street. At the signal near Larkin Square where Seneca Street bears left, stay to the right of the fire station and continue on Swan Street.

Drive under the viaduct. Make the first right turn onto Jefferson Avenue. The Harvest House Ministry Center is 2 blocks on the right, with a large parking lot.

HOW YOU CAN HELP!

You can help by donating your child's previously loved toys and gently used clothing and furnishings to Harvest House.  We accept anything appropriate for a baby or child. Children's clothing up to size 14 is accepted.  The greatest needs are cribs with stationary sides, car seats and newborn clothing including sleepers and onesies.  Because the children who rely on our services already have one strike against them, we do not accept clothing that is torn, stained, or out of style.  Due to safety regulations we cannot accept infant car seats without a base.

The Baby and Children's Ministry relies on volunteers to keep the building open.  Volunteers may choose to work during the hours the building is open and help the clients choose the items they need or during off hours hanging and sorting clothing to refill the racks.  Volunteers may choose to work three hours a month or three hours each week.  Substitute volunteers are needed to fill in during vacations and illness.

For information on volunteering call the Baby and Children's Ministry at 824-7818 or e-mail joannereczka@gmail.com.
